"Welcome to your new summer job at the new and improved Freddy Fazbear's Pizza."

Summary

Out of anything in the world working for Freddy's would be at the very bottom of Mike's list of places to work out. But when his father forced him out of his, as he put it, "dead end" snack bar job at his highschool he had no choice with the job put in front of him. He practically was a zombie the rest of his prior school years because of what happened. Mike had no remaining friends practically nobody wanted to get near him. As his father explained to him "Nobody else would take him." and he might of been right.

His shift was anything but exciting. Despite William's assurances that his boy was now "tame" he practically wasn't allowed to go near any of the kids. It was all of the odd jobs that nobody wanted to do. Pizza chef, waiter, fill-in mechanic, and most of all: Janitor. It was tiring work. Whenever he would get a break it would be straight to a 4-5 hour sleep before getting right back to it the next day. At least his co-workers were alright. Jeremy was the after close nightguard so he only ever got to see the guy when he came in two hours early. Mike always found Fritz to be something of a nerd and a kiss-ass. He seemed way too happy to be working here but he was sort of funny to pick on if Mike ever had the energy. And his manager? That would be Miller. Mike would never admit it to his face but he liked Miller. He seemed to be the only guy that actually cared about him or what he was up to.

Of course, none of it mattered. This place was doomed from the moment it opened only sticking around for a month at most. The animatronics were creepy and he would honestly do anything to keep away and ignore them if it wasn't for the one night he had to fill in for Jeremy's usual night shift. He didn't know how the guy used to deal with...this. They were acting out and seemed genuinely dangerous. Not the toys, the other ones. Those old characters they kept in the back room, Jeremy had never mentioned they moved. Maybe he couldn't but they had an uncanny alive reaction to him. Mike practically had to break himself out of the building and run home just to get away from them. It wasn't until he got the call a few hours later that he realized him leaving let something else into the pizzeria.
