Summary
It's our favorite neighbor, William Afton! Ever excentric and eager to chat, he is just dying to hear about what you're up to today. William was born to a strange uptight family. Generations of snake oil salesmen and hunters led down to his father's eeire taxidermy trade. William himself was never much into it like his sister was. He was a natural smooth talker but he chose the hippie lifestyle as a young man instead much to his parents disapproval. Disappearing seemingly off the face of the earth for a few years just to come back with tricks and tales. He always seems to have a riveting story of this time but is he really telling the truth? He'll just give you a wink and a shrug. That's the best part of any story.
As an older man he's settled down into a real profession. Proud owner of 'Midnight Motors', William is a natural car enthusiest with his pride and joy being his own flashy vehicle, it was no question who owned that car of his in a town so small as this. It came as no surprise when he came up as one half of the minds behind a new contender in family entertainment. Coupled with his engineer friend and old drinking partner, Henry Emily, he would use his broad knowledge of trade tricks and corner cutting to switch from his car dealership into this new promising money maker. His more personal role was performer for his character own Sunny Bunny, a character he could so seamlessly play the part of. To the shock of some even after his first Springlock Suit incident, an almost fatal accident that scarred his skin and could have killed him, he simply brushed it off. This "flaw" instead brought him closer to the character. William Afton, cheater of death.
He was something of a humble man to the town. Unlike his family William had a desire to get to know people. Less from a personable aspect and more of a great need to know how someone ticked. How he could get under someone's skin with just one word. He was always the one attending and hosting social events, inviting people up the hill to that Afton House and clearing the notion that it was a gloomy place. Nobody realized that they were dancing with the devil who wore a cowboy hat with horns and spurs for hooves. William could never be with the people. He wasn't like them. This fact however didn't bother him much, didn't bother him at all. He loved to be loved and he could get it in the blink of an eye. Poor William Afton, the man who lost his dear son to his rotten little beast of an eldest. He was admirable for taking stride in the face of tragedy. Nobody would turn a blind eye to the notion that it was his car in the pouring rain that night in April of 1985. Not a notion of distrust when it came up that those five kids had gone missing to Freddy's. Why would they? He's an honest man.
TRIVIA
- Favorite Animatronic: Sunny Bunny
- Much prefers to be called Bill! 'William' is so formal.
- While he was not personable in the slightest, him and his wife Bonnibelle had a sickening kind of cheesy love that made it look like they were constantly giggling highschool sweethearts. She was his secretary for his car dealership. Around town they were known as Billy and Bonnie.
- His car is his prized possession. If you knew William, you knew about his car and he was not shy to give you every detail about her. A 1969 AMC Rebel SST with an eyecatching blue-ish purple color. He has a lucky rabbit's foot hanging off the rear view mirror.
- His flashy outfits carried over into his Fredbear's Family Diner area simply because they still fit the part.
- Bill and Henry met through simple means. On one of William's many stints to try something knew he came across one of the strangest men he's ever met and that's history! The reason he even considers himself friends with Henry, his only friend even, is because William found him so odd that he just had to pick him apart and he's still trying to get in that head of his. A lot of this wouldn't of happened if he didn't push that man.
- Beautiful tie collection for any situation.
- Knows quite a few slight of hand tricks and clown acts. One of his many stories that he spins from his youth is about how he ran off with the circus for a period. Along with Sunny's mascot head he's prone to paint his face in clown make-up. For fun!
