Summary

Growing up and being the favorite child was the last thing Christopherson wanted, especially in a House like this. When both your other siblings compete for love and you get the worst of it. Christopher is the middle child of the Afton Household. He was always regarded as a weird kid, mild mannered yet blunt when he spoke. His father saw him as the perfect son to hand over his business to when he would up and leave but Chris didn't care much for any of it. He only nodded along with it because it got him a pat on the back and ice cream most days. He knew his father's love was from a twisted standpoint, he knew his brother Michael dispised him, and his younger sister Bethany was so wrapped up in trying to get attention she wouldn't have been able to help him. At the ripe age of 10 he knew he was on his own. Chris was always quick to anger, it frustrated him he was never actually heard and that people projected these things onto him.

Chris never liked Fredbear's. His siblings in their own respective circles found it as something to brag about but he never understood. When Chris was a baby he saw his father put employees into suits. Then he also saw his father's first "springlock accident". It scared him for life. So much so that he convinced himself that underneath the animatronic fur was twisted rusted metal. Sharp spinning saw blades and jagged edges. He thought they would catch him and eat him up. He had to learn to stop saying these things outloud but it was something the kids around town and especially his brother never let down. He still deeply believes there's something wrong with the animatronics and much prefers the cartoon and toys. The cartoon itself brought a sort of comfort to Chris. That he always had someone kind waiting for him at home that was happy to see he had come back. When Chris was in his worst times he had taken up to the imaginary friends. He would picture that the Fazbear band was here with him and most of all, Fredbear himself. "The real Fredbear" as he would put it. Not the one on stage but the one treat him like a person.

His brother hated him so much and he hated him back for it.

TRIVIA

  • Favorite Animatronic: Fredbear (Cartoon)

  • His name is pronounced 'Kriss-toff-fer-son' but he would much rather be called 'Chris' which most people don't do. All of his siblings get shortened versions of their names, why not him?

  • Often misinterpreted as a crybaby. Chris doesn't cry when he's sad, he cries when he's angry.

  • His Fredbear doll was a gift given to him by his father when he was just a baby. Chris never saw anything wrong with it even though it was rubbery and kind of awful. With him around it let him imagine Fredbear was here much easier.

  • His mom used to call him 'Little Bear'

  • He thinks Cassidy is cool and stuff....Whatever.

  • "Tomorrow is another day" has become something of a coping mantra for Chris. It was how every episode of Fredbear and Friends ended as they would promise to come back.
